1. Video-Conferencing ISDN Remote Loops

For testing a video-conferencing installation, Loopback provides a remote loop which allows the user to see himself in both the local and remote window. Successful testing can allow validation of most functionality except cross platform conferencing. ISDN bonding capable for up to 23 channels. (Bonding Mode 1 is limited to 12 channels. AIM calls can be bonded up to 23 channels.)

2. ISDN Remote Loops

Loopback provides a remote loop facility for digital calls from one to 23 channels. Once communication equipment has been installed, tested, and/or repaired, a loop test using a third party service such as Loopback is the only way to ensure overall system operation. By calling Loopback, the customer tests equipment operation, connection to the local phone company, connection to the long distance carrier, and capability to receive a signal from a remote facility.

In addition to testing communication equipment, the looping service allows the testing of customer premise equipment which uses the communication links established between two sites. Examples of equipment are video-conferencing, routers and others.

3. ISDN BERT Tests

If you have equipment which can request a remote BERT test, the Loopback equipment will respond with a loop to support the test. Use the ISDN test number.
